Hydria Gas Technologies, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our manufacturing team in South Houston, TX. The role is responsible for the flow of materials from receiving to issuing to job orders, with a focus on accuracy, organization and safety in a fast-paced production environment.

You will maintain inventory records in our ERP system, conduct cycle counts, coordinate with production, purchasing, and shipping, and support forklift operations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual English & Spanish required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of inventory control or warehouse experience, preferably in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify incoming materials against PO/packing slips.
  • Process outgoing shipments with accurate picking and documentation.
  • Issue materials to job orders and service orders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system.
  • Organize warehouse locations and ensure proper labeling and storage.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory counts.
  • Monitor stock levels and flag reorder needs.
  • Track inventory discrepancies and damaged goods.
  • Coordinate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with safety standards.
  • Operate forklift/pallet jack as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain receiving logs, issue tickets, and inventory reports.
  • Assist Production Manager with assigned tasks.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Clerk to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for managing the flow of materials throughout the facility — from receiving and shipping to issuing materials for job orders and service orders. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming materials, verify quantities and accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips, and inspect for damage or discrepancies
  • Process outgoing shipments, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and documented correctly
  • Issue raw materials, components, and supplies to job orders and service orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory/ERP system, updating stock levels as materials are received, issued, or transferred
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse/stockroom locations, ensuring materials are properly labeled, stored, and easy to locate
  • Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies
  • Monitor stock levels and flag low inventory or reorder needs to the appropriate personnel
  • Track and report on inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, and slow-moving or obsolete stock
  • Coordinate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to ensure materials are available when needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company safety standards
  • Operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack) as needed
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including receiving logs, issue tickets, and inventory reports
  • Assist with any tasks assigned by Production Manager as needed
Qualifications
  • Bilingual – English & Spanish REQUIRED
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with inventory management or ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Infor, or similar) preferred
  • Familiarity with cycle counting and physical inventory procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic math and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain certification)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with cross-functional teams
