Job summary

Smart Resources Group is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Salt Lake City, UT. The role focuses on receiving, organizing, moving, and tracking inventory while maintaining a safe warehouse environment.

Schedule is Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with occasional weekend shifts and a $2/hour differential. Applicants should have 1–2 years of warehouse experience, a high school diploma, and English reading/speaking ability.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse or related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to speak and read English.
• Experience with inventory, receiving, or warehouse management systems preferred.
• Knowledge of safe handling and storage of cartons, boxes, and pallets.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming products using an RF Scanner and warehouse management system.
• Verify the quantity and quality of incoming shipments.
• Receive deliveries and returned merchandise according to company procedures.
• Label pallets and cartons as needed.
• Inspect incoming goods and report shortages or damaged products.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Move, load, unload, and properly store products.
• Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records.
• Organize products and maintain clean, orderly storage areas.
• Inspect warehouse areas for damage, deterioration, and safety concerns.
• Meet daily productivity and performance goals.
• Follow direction from the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
• Support and encourage your teammates to create a positive, team-oriented work environment.

What We're Looking For

• 1–2 years of warehouse or related experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to speak and read English
• Experience with inventory, receiving, or warehouse management systems preferred

• Ability to successfully complete any required background investigation
