Job summary

M&D Supply Ace Hardware in Mont Belvieu, TX is seeking an on-site Inventory Clerk to help keep our store inventory accurate and up to date. You will investigate discrepancies, research problems, and implement corrections to maintain reliable records.

You will review reports, perform counts, and collaborate with coworkers to resolve issues. Starting pay is $10.50–$12.50 per hour, DOE, with opportunities to learn our systems and grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be available to work 37–40 hours per week.
• Must meet company attendance and scheduling standards.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory reports and investigate differences or problems.
• Research inventory issues and determine what needs to be corrected.
• Make inventory adjustments and corrections.
• Complete receiving and POS corrections when needed.
• Perform inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
• Work with store employees and management to resolve inventory issues.
• Attend required meetings and training.
• Meet monthly with your supervisor to discuss goals, performance, and development.
• Assist with other tasks one day per week including but not limited to: customer service, stocking, housekeeping.
• Provide excellent customer service when assisting customers.
• Follow company attendance, safety, and work standards.
• Help with other reasonable store duties when needed, including during emergency or disaster situations.

M&D Supply is looking for an on-site, dependable, detail-oriented Inventory Clerk who enjoys working with numbers and solving a different problem every day.

As an Inventory Clerk, you will help make sure our store's inventory is accurate and up to date. You will investigate inventory differences, research problems, make corrections, and work with store employees to keep our inventory records accurate.

STARTING PAY: $10.50 - $12.50 / hr DOE

What You'll Do:

• Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.
• Technical Skills: Inventory Clerk is required to perform activities such as: item identification, viewing a terminal; analyzing data. Inventory Clerk must be able to operate machines such as POS/Eagle Browser, computers, security systems. They must be able to operate Eagle Browser, open office, ms excel and word, phone, email and Smartsheet.
