Job summary

LKQ is seeking a Car Inventory Check In Clerk to support its operations in Honolulu. The role involves logging incoming vehicles, recording details, and assigning stock numbers to ensure accurate inventory in AMS. You will deliver paperwork to multiple departments and help maintain reports.

The position requires comfortable outdoor work in various weather conditions and basic computer/data-entry skills. Prior experience is helpful, but training is provided to learn company processes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is preferred.
• Ability to learn company procedures and data-entry systems.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Receive vehicles at entrance and log onto inventory log.
• Record vehicle information by data entry.
• Assign stock numbers to vehicles in AMS.
• Deliver completed paperwork to relevant departments.
• Assist in filing and maintaining reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Full job description. As a part of our continued growth, LKQ is seeking a Car Inventory Check In Clerk to join our team! You will be responsible for managing the inbound flow of products to support the company’s sales objectives. To excel in this position, you must be able to multitask, communicate well with others, and be very organized in tasks. The ideal candidate needs to be very goal orientated and willing to work at a very fast pace while maintaining the quality and accuracy set forth in the job expectations. Essential Job Duties

• Receive vehicles at entrance to log vehicles onto the inventory log
• Record vehicle information by data entry
• Assign stock numbers to vehicles to confirm they have been received in AMS
• Deliver all completed paperwork to various departments
• Assist in filing and maintaining reports
• Other duties as assigned

Will be working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Education & Experience

High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent desired.

Up to six months of related experience, supplemented by on-the-job training, to learn duties, nature of work performed, procedures, and work methods, to become familiar with the company’s products, locations, machines and equipment, operating methods, and to attain proficiency requirements and to fully assume responsibilities of the job.
