Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.Essential Job FunctionsThe following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.Operates powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilitiesObtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated area in the facilityPerforms transactions in business system(s) to assure accurate tracking of product inventoriesConducts physical inventory audits, job packet review, cycle counts, damaged material management, and waste tracking and disposal as neededResolves inventory inconsistenciesParticipates in continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management process and information flowPrepares required business reportsThe anticipated hourly range for the position is $16.90 - $21.50, depending on experience and qualificationsThis position is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus and benefits packageEducation & ExperienceHigh School Degree or Equivalent preferredSome relevant experience requiredMust be able to operate a stand-up forkliftKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processesKnowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished productsAbility to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product componentsKnowledge of issues and considerations for effectively managing local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work in progress and finished goodsKnowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycleKnowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facilityPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentPrimarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office settingFrequent walking and standing requiredOccasional travel required Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.Two companies, one vision.Menasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
