Job description

Essential Functions

Works with multiple departments. Accomplishing Financial and Key Results Strives to improve auditing processes and efficiencies. Conducts staff meetings / attend sales meetings. Handles asset protection team communications. Implements special projects for the asset protection team. Perform and schedule Red Flag Merchandise and Cash audits to investigate as required. Review and approve time sheets, mileage logs, expense reports, activity reports and any other internal paperwork. Assure compliance to start time and travel policies. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, and orientating employees as needed. Maintains staff performance through training, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring and appraising job results. Increases professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, and networking with other departments. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company plan guidelines.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent, inventory auditing experience, and retail experience in a convenience store environment. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted. Must have valid drivers license with no major offences. Must be willing to travel and agree to occasional overnight travel as required. Must be able to follow state, federal, and company guidelines. Maintains a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times. Must be able to perform the job summary responsibilities as described above. Proficient in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Physical Requirements

Work Environment

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at a normal range.
• The lighting will include natural light from the outside as well as fluorescent lighting throughout the work areas.
• Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.
