Job summary

Circle K in Minnesota, Duluth area, seeks an Inventory Auditor to verify stock and cash across stores. You will count merchandise and cash using a handheld device, flag price discrepancies, and ensure proper handling of deposits and lottery items. The role requires independent work and adherence to procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• At least 1 year of inventory auditing or retail experience in C-stores.
• Valid driver's license with no major offenses and current liability insurance.

Job description

Essential Functions

• Verifies merchandise and cash in each of the Company stores by conducting a physical count using a hand held computer
• Notifies store manager of wrong prices and pulls out-of-code merchandise.
• Count and record cash, checks and food stamps in the register, TACC tubes and safe.
• Verify money orders, lottery ticket inventory and bank deposits.
• Verify gasoline inventory by sticking tanks and checking for water.
• Performs various surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures.
• Works in safe manner by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Performs multi-tasks in a fast paced enviornment.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Requires 1 year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
