Job summary

Circle K in Salem, OR seeks a Store Inventory Auditor to perform physical counts using a handheld computer and verify merchandise and cash across locations.

Role requires independence, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and weekly overnight travel. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance.
• Weekly overnight travel is required for some job locations per month.

Responsibilities

• Verifies merchandise and cash in each store by conducting a physical count using a handheld computer.
• Notifies store managers of price discrepancies and removes out-of-code merchandise.
• Counts and records cash, checks and food stamps in registers, TACC tubes and safes.
• Verifies money orders, lottery ticket inventory and bank deposits.
• Verifies gasoline inventory by sticking tanks and checking for water.
• Performs surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures.
• Works safely by following procedures and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by completing related tasks as needed.
