Job summary

You will count cash, checks, and deposits, verify gasoline inventory, and help ensure compliance with procedures. Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of inventory auditing or retail experience in a convenience store, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of inventory auditing or retail experience in a convenience store environment.
• Valid driver’s license with no major offenses and current liability insurance.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies merchandise and cash in each store by conducting a physical count using a handheld computer.
• Notifies store manager of wrong prices and pulls out-of-code merchandise.
• Counts and records cash, checks, and food stamps in the register, tubes and safe.
• Verifies money orders, lottery ticket inventory and bank deposits.
• Verifies gasoline inventory by sticking tanks and checking for water.
• Performs surveys to verify compliance with procedures.
• Works safely by following procedures, rules and regulations.
• Able to work independently with little supervision and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
