Job summary

Meijer is seeking a dedicated inventory auditor to physically count merchandise in our stores. You will scan UPCs, enter counts on a handheld device, and ensure accuracy while supporting store teams with excellent service.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, and prior counting or auditing experience. Ability to stand/walk most of the day and lift 10–50 lbs. This full-time role involves a 4-day work week and occasional travel to support inventories.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of general business math and bookkeeping.
• Six months to one year of job training and experience.
• Strong mental and visual ability to perform counts.
• Physical ability for standing and walking most of the time.
• Physical ability to lift/move objects between 10 and 50 lbs.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Count merchandise in stores and record counts on a handheld device.
• Provide excellent customer service and interact with store team members.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency toward daily goals with feedback.
• Exercise good judgement and handle confidential information discreetly.
• Participate in other auditing projects as needed.
• Perform other related duties as required.
