Job summary

Meijer is seeking a warehouse associate to support receiving, shipping and inventory control within our warehouse operations. You will verify items, quantities and quality, input data into the system and uphold accuracy in shipment documentation.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Physical requirements include lifting and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong math skills required.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail with focus on accuracy.
• Demonstrated focus on accuracy and quality.
• Good organizational and memorization abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical requirements.
• Available to work holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive Purchase Orders.
• Identify/verify item, quantity and quality and enter into software via laptop.
• Conduct quality audits.
• Review products to be shipped against billing records to verify and document accuracy.
• Perform inventory control and cycle counts.
• Identify/verify item quantity against system records.
