Job summary

System One, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Associate I - A in Kent, WA for a 6-month assignment. Shift is Monday–Friday 6am–3:30pm PST with a pay rate of $35 per hour. You will support receiving, inventory, and logistics tasks, and operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities include ensuring SOP compliance, performing quality checks, and documenting receipts in inventory systems. Must work 45–55 hours weekly and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience including receiving and inventory functions.
• Forklift certification is required or desired.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in a technical environment.
• Excellent communication skills for technical settings.
• Analytical mindset to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement by evaluating, monitoring, and escalating roadblocks that could cause downstream defects.
• Support root cause analysis and provide detailed problem-solving insights.
• Operate heavy equipment including PIT equipment and forklifts safely and maintain equipment.
• Move heavy parts/materials using electronic pallet jacks, forklifts, reach-trucks, and turret-trucks.
• Receive shipments, unload deliveries, and visually inspect packages for SOP compliance.
• Conduct quality checks, review part requirements, and process accordingly.
• Document receipts using tools to upload, store, and close out work orders or receipts following SOPs.
• Input data into inventory management systems and read modules for required information.
• Identify correct packaging for parts and wrap/store items at workflow stages.
• Sort, stage, and move packages or storage containers while preventing loss.
• Label parts with identifiers as per SOPs for workflow analysis.
• Store and audit parts properly, following SOPs and exercising good judgment.

• Move heavy parts/materials throughout the facilities using equipment such as electronic pallet jacks, forklifts, reach-trucks, and turret-trucks.
• Receive shipments, unload deliveries, and visually inspect packages for compliance with SOP standards.
• Conduct quality control checks, review part requirements, and process accordingly.
• Document receipts using tools and equipment to upload, store, and close out work orders or receipts following SOPs.
• Input data into inventory management systems, navigating modules and reading information as needed.
• Identify appropriate packaging for parts and properly wrap/store items at various workflow stages.
• Sort, stage, and move packages or storage containers, ensuring security and preventing loss.
• Label and mark parts with identifiers as outlined in SOPs for workflow analysis.
• Properly store and audit parts, whether individual or bulk, following SOPs and using good judgment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including receiving and inventory functions.
• Desired: Warehouse/Receiving/Inventory experience in the aerospace or automotive industry.
• Certified forklift experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication skills in a technical environment.
• Mathematical and analytical skills to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material.
• Ability to earn trust and maintain positive, professional relationships.
• Must adhere strictly to safety protocols, including PPE usage and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to work at least 45 hours per week, with potential for 50-55 hours.
