Job summary

Leading Technology Composites in Wichita, Kansas, is seeking individuals for roles involving material handling and inventory control. You will be responsible for receiving, checking, storing, and issuing a variety of materials while maintaining strong inventory practices.

The ideal candidate should be able to load and unload materials efficiently, work safely with heavy items, and use various software to manage inventory data. This position requires precision, adherence to military and aerospace regulations, and the ability to thrive in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, check, store and issue a variety of materials while maintaining inventory control.
  • Maintain a positive attitude in a high stress environment.
  • Load, unload and deliver a variety of materials to various locations throughout the facility.
  • Prepare and package parts using proper procedures and materials.
  • Use computer hardware/software to maintain inventory, enter and retrieve data and other computer input requirements.
  • Handle, maintain inventory, shelf-life material and time and temperature sensitive materials as well as chemicals.
  • Lift various heavy items safely and as a team when necessary.
  • Follow military and aerospace regulation requirements.
  • Check, prepare, process and file a variety of paperwork pertaining to tasks.
  • Use assorted measuring and weight recording devices.
  • Improve processes and solve problems with the team of coworkers.
  • Keep equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean.
  • Safely operate a forklift and pallet jack as necessary.
  • Perform all related duties as required within the scope of this job function.

Job description

Monday-Thursday 7AM-4:30PM Friday 7-11AM
