Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group in Ridgeway, SC is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to help maintain inventory accuracy through counts and reporting. The role involves assisting in re-warehousing and ensuring fast-moving items are easy to pick.

The position requires inventory control experience and offers a Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm schedule with Friday 7am-2pm; starting at $19.00/hour plus full benefits within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software.
• Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines.
• Analytic and reporting skills.
• Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical counts of product, including cycle counts, aisle checks, vintage verification, and other checks as needed.
• Track physical counts, looking for trends.
• Identify product that can be removed from forward pick locations to continuously ensure items with most activity are easiest to pick.
• Research driver shorts, hand back order, and any other invoice delivery issues.
• Assist in returns process, putting bottle and cases in storage locations.
• Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Here's what you'll do:

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephone
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
