Job summary

Cheney Brothers, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Associate in Port Saint Lucie, FL to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure product availability through regular stock checks and coordination with buyers and sales teams.

You will operate warehouse systems including AS400 and SAP, forecast supply and demand, and fulfill transfer requests, contributing to efficient operations and customer satisfaction. Required is a High School Diploma/GED with 0–6 months experience; training and benefits are

• 0–6 months experience in inventory or warehouse roles is beneficial.
• Familiarity with inventory systems and warehouse procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Count product and locate missing inventory.
• Forecast supply and demand to ensure stock availability.
• Process buyer transfer requests and fulfill them.
• Perform regular stock checks and escalate issues as needed.
• Operate reach truck or pallet jack.
• Communicate with buyers and sales via email.
• Run reports from inventory systems.

Position Purpose

The Inventory Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring product availability through regular stock checks, forecasting, and coordination with buyers and sales teams. This role supports warehouse operations by managing inventory systems and fulfilling transfer requests, contributing to efficient supply chain and customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities

• Count product and locate missing inventory.
• Forecast supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
• Proof slots and fulfill buyer transfer requests.
• Perform regular stock checks and elevate any issues.
• Operate reach truck or pallet jack as needed.
• Communicate via email with buyers and salesforce.
• Run reports as needed.
• Use and learn inventory systems such as AS400 and SAP.
• Understand product dating and rotation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

0-6 months prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics is beneficial
