Job summary

Cheney Brothers in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking an Inventory Associate to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure product availability through regular stock checks, forecasting, and coordination with buyers and sales teams.

You will support warehouse operations using AS400 and SAP, handle transfer requests, perform stock counts, and contribute to efficient supply chain and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6 months prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Count product and locate missing inventory.
• Forecast supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
• Proof slots and fulfill buyer transfer requests.
• Perform regular stock checks and escalate any issues.
• Operate reach truck or pallet jack as needed.
• Communicate via email with buyers and salesforce.
• Run reports as needed.
• Use and learn inventory systems such as AS400 and SAP.
• Understand product dating and rotation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Purpose
