Job summary

Mainspring Energy, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Associate to ensure internal customers in Operations, R&D, and Contract Manufacturing are supplied with essential parts and kits.

You will manage parts kitting, stock organization, and the shipping/receiving workflow at the Menlo Park facility. You will maintain the inventory database, perform cycle counts, and collaborate with mechanics and engineers to keep inventories accurate and replenished, enabling affordable, reliable energy

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and organize mission-critical supplies.
• Update inventory database with received and consumed items.
• Coordinate stock-related duties including packing and labeling materials.
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and coordinate reimbursements/records.
• Monitor kit consumption and ensure timely replenishment.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts to maintain accuracy.

Job Overview

We are searching for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Associate to ensure our internal customers in Operations and Maintenance, R&D, and Contract Manufacturing are supplied with the critical parts and kits they need. In this position, you will play a key role in parts kitting and inventory organization, as well as shipping and receiving. You will work within our facility in Menlo Park, collaborating with our highly talented team of mechanics and engineers to bring affordable, dispatchable, and clean energy to the world.

Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, unloading and organization of mission critical supplies
• Maintain our inventory database through data entry of received and consumed items
• Coordinate stock-related duties, including returning, packing, and labeling materials as needed
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
• Monitor kit consumption, ensuring timely replenishment
• Conduct inventory cycle counts to ensure inventory level accuracy

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Warehouse in a manufacturing environment
• Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Good written and verbal communication skills

$24 - $26.50 an hour

This position is onsite at our Menlo Park HQ. The salary will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions based on employee location as well as the experience of the employee. Along with base salary, Mainspring offers pre-IPO company equity through Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) + benefits.
