Job summary

Krueger International (KI) seeks a full-time Inventory Assistant for our Green Bay manufacturing site. The role runs 7:30am–4:00pm and involves pulling, sorting, cutting, and shipping fabric, plus maintaining stock and samples in a fast-paced factory environment.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus basic computer skills (Word/Excel) and strong reading/kb skills. KI values teamwork and a proactive attitude in a smoke-free facility.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders and sort according to shipping requirements.
• Pull proper fabric to fulfill orders.
• Cut fabric to size, bag it and send to shipping.
• Inspect incoming fabric rolls ensuring that flaws are marked and yardage is correct.
• Place fabric rolls on racks sorted by location range.
• Take appropriate fabric rolls from racks to the Fed Ex machine.
• Fill fabric sample requests for customers and sales reps.
• Track daily and monthly samples via Excel spreadsheet program.

Job Duties

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Reading skills
• Keyboarding skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel

• Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required
• Team player
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to train on any shift
• Positive attitude

Physical Requirements

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment
• Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow
