System One, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Assistant in Parlin, NJ, for a temp-to-hire role with hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Compensation ranges from $20 to $24 per hour based on experience.

The role involves inventory cycle counts, data entry, basic math, ERP usage, and general administrative tasks. Responsibilities include organizing inventory, processing orders, and supporting AR/AP and office operations.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• At least six months of prior warehouse support experience.
• Comfortable with basic math, fractions, and reading a tape measure.
• Able to read, enter and manage data accurately in ERP and MS Office.
• Strong basic math skills and numerical accuracy.

• Stock and replenish items in inventory.

• Document measurements and labeling of scrap materials.

• Enter data into the ERP system.
• Process online orders and print shipping labels and work orders.
• Collaborate with the Office Manager and provide general administrative support.

Job Title: Inventory Assistant
Location: Parlin, NJ
Type: Temp-to-hire
Compensation: $20 - $24 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Preforms inventory cycle counts of finished product, supplies and materials
• Sorts parts by sizes and accurately stows in appropriate bins
• Stocks and replenishes items into inventory
• Maintains an accurate and organized filing system
• Uses tape measure to accurately document and label useable scrap (conveyor belt material)
• Helps file, copy, scan and helps prepare/create digital files & documents such as customer orders or invoicing (will be reviewed by coworker)
• Assists with AR and AP - enters data for invoicing and make journal entries as needed
• Assists with entering data into computerized ERP system
• Helps process online orders, prints shipping labels and work orders for Production Crew
• Works closely with Office Manager
• Perform administrative tasks, as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, some college coursework or other related post-high school training preferred
• At least six (6) months of prior warehouse support experience.
• Must be comfortable with basic math calculations such as adding, subtracting, dividing and multiplying. Understanding basic fractions are a must (must be able to accurately read a tape measure)
• Must be comfortable working with numbers and accurate calculating basic multiplication and division. Feet, inches, etc.
• Must possess working computer skills & knowledge including ERP (database) management and MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong basic math skills
