• Ensure all inventory items are properly labeled, organized, and stored in designated locations.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
• Provide inventory support to sales, service, receiving, and shipping teams.
• Maintain established inventory accuracy standards and assist with procedures.
• Travel to branch locations in GA, SC, and East TN as needed.
• Perform some lifting and movement of inventory as required.
• Use company vehicles for authorized travel between locations.

Inventory Assistant

Roper Laser Co. Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Assistant to support inventory operations across the company’s branch locations throughout Georgia, South Carolina, and East Tennessee. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.

The Inventory Assistant will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring inventory is properly organized and accounted for. This role works closely with sales, service, receiving, and shipping teams to support efficient day-to-day operations and maintain high inventory accuracy standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations.
• Perform regular cycle counts, bin audits, and full physical inventory checks.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by reviewing pick history, receipts, system records, and other relevant data.
• Ensure all inventory items are properly labeled, organized, and stored in their designated locations.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify recurring inventory issues and recommend process improvements.
• Provide inventory-related support to sales, service, receiving, and shipping teams.
• Maintain established inventory accuracy standards and assist with developing and supporting inventory procedures.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve inventory management processes and overall operational efficiency.
• Travel periodically to Roper Laser Co. branch locations throughout Georgia, South Carolina, and East Tennessee.
• Perform some lifting and physical movement of inventory as needed.
• Use company-provided vehicles for authorized business travel between locations.
