Support Canadian GST/HST, PST/QST, and other assigned federal or provincial indirect tax filings under the direction of the Global Tax team or external tax advisors.
  • Reconcile assigned tax-related General Ledger accounts, investigate reconciling items, and prepare or support related journal entries.
  • Maintain the tax compliance calendar and monitor assigned filing and payment deadlines.
  • Coordinate assigned tax payment requests and retain payment confirmations and supporting documentation.
  • Research and resolve routine discrepancies involving tax transactions and elevate complex or material matters to the appropriate Tax or Finance leader.
  • Track tax notices, assessments, and correspondence and coordinate information needed for timely resolution.
  • Maintain tax returns, workpapers, exemption certificates, payment support, and related correspondence in an organized and audit‑ready manner.
