Job summary

Uline, a leading North American distributor of shipping, packaging, and industrial materials, is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to turn warehouse data into actionable insights. You will identify trends, investigate discrepancies and recommend improvements across our network of 15 locations.

You will build and maintain reports using SQL, Power BI and Excel, perform root-cause analysis, and partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen inventory accuracy and drive efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of warehouse or inventory experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong, analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI and Warehouse Management System (WMS) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause analysis to anticipate potential inventory discrepancies and identify solutions.
• Translate data and metrics into actionable insights through clear, concise reports and present strategic findings to leadership.
• Build, maintain and enhance reports using SQL, Power BI and Excel.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen inventory accuracy and ensure efficient operations.
