Maesa, the incubator behind multiple mass-retail beauty and fragrance brands, is hiring a temporary Inventory Analyst at its New York headquarters. Inventory is where incubator economics live or die: too little stock and a retailer's shelf goes empty at launch, too much and cash sits in a warehouse, the balancing act our MOQ coverage touches from the production side.
The Analyst monitors inventory health across brands and retailers: reconciling on-hand, in-transit, and on-order positions, flagging shortage and overstock risks, supporting monthly counts and audits, and building the reports that planners and finance act on. The role runs on spreadsheets, ERP data, and skepticism about numbers that look too tidy.
Analytical candidates with inventory, planning, or operations exposure in CPG, beauty, or retail; strong Excel is non-negotiable, ERP familiarity a plus. The role is a temporary engagement, an excellent foot in the incubator door.
