Job summary

Morton Industries in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Inventory Analyst to improve a broad range of inventory metrics. You will be part of the shipping team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in material handling. This role emphasizes accuracy, coordination, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

You will need strong organizational skills, data-driven decision making, and the ability to collaborate with production, purchasing, and accounts to optimize inventory records and processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with inventory and logistics is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Move levers and pedals to drive trucks and control lifting equipment.
• Position forks and pallets and transport loads to designated areas.
• Inventory materials on the work floor.
• Perform pre-operational checks and service equipment.
• Maintain and improve inventory practices by analyzing data.
• Coordinate between production, customer accounts, and purchasing to prevent excess inventory.
• Review bills-of-material to improve inventory systems.
• Collaborate with operations staff to ensure proper intercompany inventory recording.
• Work with floor operators to correct and consolidate materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
