Job summary

PRAB, Inc. in Kalamazoo, MI, is seeking an Inventory Analyst to monitor and optimize stock levels, develop tracking systems, and analyze daily data to prevent shortages.

You will report to the Purchasing and Material Control Manager and collaborate cross-functionally to improve inventory procedures and reporting. This role emphasizes accuracy, initiative, and proactive problem-solving with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques.
• An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
• Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages.
• Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures.
• Problem solving discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
• Performing complete inventory checks of all stock and supplies once a year.
• Lead cycle counting inventory throughout the year.
• Performing extensive research on a wide range of inventory-related reports, from previous inventory reports to purchasing trends.
• Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
• Evaluate new inventory opportunities.
• Updating ERP records with updated and relevant data
• Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
• Additional responsibilities as required.
