Job summary

SoulShine Farms is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to maintain accurate inventory records across operations, focusing on packaging, ingredients, labels, and production materials. This role suits someone who enjoys data work, investigating discrepancies, and solving problems with cross-functional teams.

Reports to the Director of Purchasing and Inventory. The position is based in Gainesville, GA with occasional travel between production facilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in inventory control, analysis, warehousing, or related manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience using ERP or warehouse-management systems.
• Intermediate Excel skills including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication and problem solving.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory transactions and ensure records are accurate and updated on time.
• Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate cycle counts, including scheduling, documentation, reconciliation, and follow-up.
• Review inventory adjustments and movements between locations.
• Support month-end inventory reconciliation and timely issue resolution.
• Analyze inventory trends, variances, aging, obsolete inventory, and slow-moving items.
• Maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and recurring performance updates.
• Recommend improvements to inventory processes, controls, and system accuracy.
