Eaton Corporation is seeking an Inventory Analyst on 1st shift at the RDC site in Youngsville, NC. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and WMS management to support transfers, batch updates, and scrap processing.

Requirements include a minimum of three years in warehouse/material analysis, a high school diploma, and eligibility to work in the United States. The position is within 50 miles of Youngsville with core hours 6:30am–3:00pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in a warehouse or material analysis environment.
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of Youngsville, NC preferred; Active-Duty Military exempt from area limitation.

Responsibilities

• Cycle count components and reconcile variances across locations.
• Maintain files and records for cycle counting results and recharge material.
• Manage inventory through the warehouse management system, including transfers, batch updates, and scrap.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving materials related to recharge.
• Request and process recharge purchase orders.
• Provide daily reports to departments and management with analysis, graphs, and metrics.
• Perform other assigned responsibilities.

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Inventory Analyst - 1st shift - RDC at our new site on Innovation Loop in Youngsville, NC.

The pay rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.

Core hours are 6:30am - 3:00pm.

What you’ll do:

Position Overview: The inventory analyst will perform a variety of duties to ensure the accuracy of the inventory counts and transactions.

In this function you will:

• Cycle count components and reconcile variances across locations
• Maintain files and records for cycle counting results and recharge material
• Manage inventory through the warehouse management system, specifically regarding transfers, batch updates, and scrap
• Coordinate shipping and receiving materials related to recharge
• Request and process recharge purchase orders
• Utilize problem-solving techniques and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues or process/transactional problems, and follow up on issues as needed
• Provide daily reports outs to departments and management on problems and reoccurring issues, using thorough analysis, publishing graphs, and metrics
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of experience in a warehouse or material analysis environment
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of Youngsville NC will be considered. Candidates who are Active-Duty Military are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience with SAP IM and WM environments the material movements and transactions and how these movements affect the inventory
• APICS cycle counting
• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Strong Knowledge of warehousing and manufacturing practices and processes
• Forklift experience

Position Criteria:

• MS Office Applications Proficiency with strong attention to detail. Excel advance knowledge
• Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime when needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to drive forklifts including man up lifts
• Strong written and oral communications and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Ability to stand or bend frequently
• Must have good visual accuracy
• This position must be able to read and comprehend parts drawings, assembly Bill of Materials, Pick Sheets, travelers, and related materials documentation
