Job summary

CTDI is seeking an Inventory Control professional to develop and implement formal inventory control programs across 3PL centers, oversee cycle counting, and generate detailed reports while driving continuous process improvements in logistics. Candidates should have 3+ years of inventory experience and a strong background in accounting or inventory management.

This role requires analytical skills, project management capabilities, and proficiency with MS Office and inventory software.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years inventory experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Inventory Management or similar financial-based field.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Experience with teambuilding, development and implementation of IT solutions.
  • Database Management skills; spreadsheet and performance analysis skills; problem solving capabilities.
  • Experience in logistics operations; understand inventory/accounting relationships; ability to prioritize needs.
  • Project management skills, investigative nature and process oriented.
  • Superior PC skills (specifically with MS Office)
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a formal inventory control program in our 3PL distribution centers.
  • Execute formalized inventory procedures.
  • Generate detailed cycle counts to provide measurable inventory results.
  • Create inventory reports for internal and external use.
  • Assist in optimization of logistics processes.
  • Identifies, prioritizes, develops and implements complex cross-functional inventory control process improvement projects that include forward-thinking on project introduction/development/implementation.
  • Develops and implements strategies to simplify process, improve accuracy, and improve operating efficiency.
  • Performs audits to ensure compliance to all processes and to measure effectiveness.
  • Provides appropriate direction and support to team members to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of inventory controls systems and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

This position is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures for inventory control, managing the reserve recommendation process, overseeing cycle counting policies and periodic physical inventory audits, educating and training teams on inventory practices.

Responsibilities
