Job summary

Shepherd Electric Supply in Laurel, MD is seeking an Inventory Representative to ensure inventory accuracy and timely put-away. You will work with receiving, picking, and counter staff to support a reliable warehouse operation and accurate stock records.

The role focuses on cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and maintaining Eclipse records, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and daily warehouse activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled cycle counts accurately and on time.
• Investigate and resolve count discrepancies and identify root causes.
• Maintain location integrity so products are where Eclipse says they are.
• Flag systemic count errors to the Warehouse Manager.
• Verify inbound receipts against purchase orders for quantity and item accuracy.
• Ensure received product is staged and put away to the correct bin location.
• Identify damaged, mislabeled, or short-shipped product and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with Receiving during high-volume periods.
• Maintain accurate records in Eclipse for all count adjustments and transfers.
• Complete required documentation for cycle counts and audits.
