Inventory Accountant (Part-time Contract)

Ariat is looking for a part-time Inventory Accountant based at our Haslet, TX office. This position reports to the Manager of Inventory Accounting and we anticipate a 6-month contract, working 20 hours per week.

You’ll Make a Difference By

• Supporting physical inventory cycle counts and reconciliation
• Tracking distribution center inventory and fixed asset movements
• Following up on automated write-offs
• Analyzing inbound freight (accrual checking)
• Analyzing Returns
• Other duties as assigned

About You

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or financial analytics
• 2 years of Inventory Accounting experience needed
• Analytical, problem solving and solid Excel skills
• Quick learner, ability to identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Highly detail-oriented
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

The hourly range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 per hour.

The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations.
