Aston Carter is seeking a Senior Accountant in Jacksonville, FL for a contract role with hybrid work (in-office Tue–Thu). The candidate will handle inventory-related GL entries, cost audits, and standard cost rolls.

Strong Excel, analytical skills, and collaboration across departments are essential. Responsibilities include monthly reconciliations, variance analysis for PPV/freight/duties, and supporting cost accounting projects.

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and recording general ledger journal entries related to inventory, performing monthly cost audits, and supporting annual standard cost roll. This role requires a strong understanding of standard costing, accounting principles, financial statements, and analysis.

Responsibilities

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
