Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to support invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision. The role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a science field or healthcare experience, and current AHA ACLS certification.

Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree in a science field or commensurate healthcare experience.
Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
RCIS certification within six months of hire or ARRT and TX RT(R) eligibility in lieu.
Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred).

Responsibilities

Assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervisor and physician.
Monitor dysrhythmia, interpret EKGs, operate physiologic recorder and manage waveforms.
Assist physician as scrub tech and operate imaging equipment under physician direction.
Assist with circulator duties, monitor patient status during procedures, and hand supplies.
Transport patients to and from the department and maintain cath lab supplies.
Prepare lab for procedures and maintain sterile technique; troubleshoot equipment.
