Job summary

The WG Bill Hefner VA Medical Center in Kernersville, NC seeks a Physician-Invasive Cardiology Program Manager to lead the Cardiology program and ensure sustainable growth and excellent outcomes. The physician will oversee clinical and administrative duties, collaborating across services to advance patient care.

Qualifications include board certification/eligibility in interventional cardiology, U.S. licensure, and VA-appropriate residency credentials.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible interventional cardiologist.
• U.S. citizenship or eligible for appointment per VA policy.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Completion of ACGME/AOA approved residency or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and patient care abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality invasive cardiology services in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Lead and mentor staff, residents, and fellows in Cardiovascular care.
• Develop and implement clinical protocols and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with medical service leaders to ensure program growth and outcomes.
• Participate in education and research as applicable.
