Job summary

Nordstrom Inc in Dubuque, IA is hiring an Introductory Warehouse Associate in a climate-controlled distribution center. Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 PM–5:30 AM with shift differential. Starting pay is $21.60/hour plus premiums; milestone bonus $750 after 30 and 90 days.

Training and development opportunities are provided. You’ll receive and unload freight, unpack and deliver merchandise up to 50 pounds, complete receiving/shipping documentation, rotate through areas, and scan/process

Qualifications

• Ability to repetitively bend, reach, stand, walk and lift 50 lb boxes.
• Experience operating a forklift or other PIT is a plus.
• Strong attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Job Description This is an Introductory Warehouse Associate role, with an opportunity to become a permanent team member based on performance and business needs. Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 PM–5:30 AM (+shift differential) Pay: Starting Pay: $21.60/hour plus shift premiums Milestone Bonus: $750 $375 after 30 days $375 after 90 days Working at the Nordstrom Distribution Center in Dubuque, IA is exciting, fast-paced, and means being part of something we think is pretty awesome. What You’ll Do

• Receive and unload freight
• unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds
• Complete receiving and/or shipping documentation, as required
• Rotate jobs in different areas
• Scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes

You Own This

• If You Have The ability to repetitively bend, reach, stand, walk and lift 50 lb boxes without difficulty
• Experience operating a forklift, order picker or other Power Industrial Trucks (PIT) is a plus
• The ability to drive productivity through the efficient use of time and a commitment to strong results
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• A commitment to teamwork through relationship building, reliability and collaboration

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$21.60 - $23.35 Hourly
