Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a logistics processor to operate in a fast-paced store environment.

You will independently receive, unload, unpack, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments, and fulfill customer orders with attention to quality and timeliness. You'll use inventory management systems to scan and process shipments, assist in maintaining clean stockrooms, and support daily operations, including special events and backroom organization.

The ideal logistics processor is independent, motivated, results oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer experiences every day. A day in a Life… Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards Prepare and ship customer orders following quality, packing and shipping standards Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with our inventory control processes Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms Provide general support to the store, e.g. setting up special events, organizing backroom, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures

Physical Requirements:

Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers. Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head. Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds

Pay Range Details

Pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. $18.15 - $18.85 Hourly
