Job summary

UMC Health System in Lubbock, TX seeks an IOM Technologist to perform intraoperative neuro-monitoring for preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative procedures. You will set up modalities, coordinate with anesthesia and surgeons, and document data in the Neuro-monitoring Lab systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, current EEG registry, ABRET registry, and at least one year of IONM experience. BLS certification is required, with strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and current EEG ABRET registry are required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in intraoperative neuro-monitoring.
• ABRET EEG/EP registry is required (or equivalent).
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up modalities to monitor at-risk structures.
• Position equipment so observers and team are unobstructed in the OR.
• Coordinate with reading physician before and during procedures; document data in Neuro-monitoring Lab systems.
