The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree, have at least one year of neurophysiologic monitoring experience, and hold relevant certifications such as ABRET Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring.

Description:
Works under general supervision of the Intraoperative Neurophysiology Supervisor and independently operates highly specialized intraoperative neuromonitoring equipment, records high quality SSEP, MEP, NCV and EMG studies during surgical cases involving the central and peripheral nervous system. Candidate is skilled at waveform recognition, instrumentation, artifact recognition and mitigation, and the appropriate reporting and documentation techniques of all IOM studies. The technologist may be called upon to assist in training and or assisting the supervisor in operational responsibilities

Bachelors.
Licenses & Certifications:
Basic Life Support.
ABRET Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring.
Additional Qualifications:
Must document a minimum of 1 year of independent neurophysiologic monitoring experience.
Current R. EEG T. or E. EP. T. credential preferred.
The credential may be considered toward the required education for candidates employed in intraoperative monitoring.
