Motion Industries seeks a Trade Compliance Analyst II to guide the Global Sourcing group and Motion business units in complying with US and Canada import/export laws. You will coordinate with legal, finance, audit, IT and others to develop processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and train staff across international shipments.

The Trade Compliance Analyst II provides support and guidance to the Global Sourcing group and Motion business units to ensure compliance with all applicable government laws and regulations in the company’s international trade activities. This position serves as a liaison between the business units and US and Canada government agencies, acts as subject matter expert for all trade issues involving product regulatory oversight, and ensures all import and export transactions comply with the laws and regulations of the US and Canada. This position is also responsible for ensuring international shipments conform to business agreements, including freight charges, service levels, and service provider performance. This position requires coordination with multiple groups within Motion, including legal, finance, audit, IT, and other relevant departments for process development, compliance evaluations, and training/awareness.
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
