Job summary

International Intimates Inc. is seeking an Intimate Apparel Assistant Technical Designer for an on-site role in the New York City metropolitan area.

You will support the technical fit team, measure samples, manage fittings, and assist with live model sessions to ensure precise tech packs for bras, panties, shapewear, and related categories. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in intimate apparel technical design and a strong understanding of fitting, grading, and construction.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in Intimate Apparel/Swimwear/Bridal in technical design and fitting.
• Understanding of intimates fitting, grading, and garment constructions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Technical fit team in developing accurate tech packs for bras, panties, shapewear.
• Measure samples and manage fitting invites.
• Assist with fittings on live models/forms and upload photos.
• Update fit measurements and constructions after fittings.

Leading Intimate Apparel seeking an Intimate Apparel Assistant Technical Designer

Role Description/ Summary of job

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Intimate Apparel Assistant Technical Designer located in the New York City Metropolitan Area.

• Responsible for supporting Technical fit team in developing accurate tech packs for Intimate Apparel include bras, panties, shapewear and related categories.
• Measure samples, send fitting invites, assisting with fit sessions on live model/ form, upload photos, updating fit/ revised measurements/ constructions after fitting.
• Knowledge of molded cup shapes, form, wire quality/ shape for missy and plus bras a plus. Will train.
• Knowledge of Blue Cherry PLM a plus. Will train.

Qualifications

• 2- 3 years in Intimate Apparel, Swimwear, Bridal in Technical Design and Fitting processes.
• Understanding of intimates fitting, grading, garment constructions.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficient PC skills including MS office ( Excel/Outlook), Blue Cherry PLM a plus.
