Job summary

St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking a full-time Interventional Vascular Technologist for day shifts. The role involves performing vascular/interventional imaging under the Chief of Medical Imaging, with emphasis on patient care and safety.

You will contribute to a strong orientation program, participate in training to advance to interventional tech, and support quality patient imaging throughout the department.

Qualifications

• AAS in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent hospital-based certificate).
• Current NYS license in Radiologic Technology.
• Advanced certification in Cardiovascular/Interventional Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular/interventional procedures per department standards.
• Operate and adjust imaging equipment to obtain quality images.
• Explain procedures to patients and position equipment accordingly.
• Obtain and record complete clinical history relevant to examinations.
• Assess appropriateness of requests and refer concerns to radiologist/coordinator.
• Maintain aseptic technique and assist in procedures with physicians.
• Prepare inventories (catheters, guidewires, stents) and post-processing steps.
