Job summary

Saint Joseph Hospital - Lexington seeks an Interventional Technologist to prepare the procedure room, operate C-arm imaging equipment, and assist physicians during complex interventional procedures while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT registrations and CPR; additional ASCs include IABP/IVUS/PCI-related devices. Sign-on bonus and education assistance are available.

Qualifications

Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology, upon hire.
Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire.
Registered Technologist Mammography, upon hire or
Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire or
Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, upon hire or
Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, upon hire or
Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days.

Responsibilities

Prepare procedure room and assist physicians during interventional procedures.
Operate and protect with C-arm imaging equipment; monitor patient vitals.
Maintain sterile fields and assist with devices in Cath Lab/IR.
Provide patient and family education related to procedure and cardiovascular risks.
Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
