Job Summary

UK Healthcare is expanding its Interventional Radiology services and is hiring new technologists. The IR Technologist will assist during procedures, support physicians, and provide technical assistance in CT, US, and fluoroscopy-guided procedures. Emphasis is placed on quality, efficiency, and service excellence.

Responsibilities include assisting as a scrub tech or circulator, managing supply charges, documentation, and maintaining patient interaction standards. Maintaining privacy and confidentiality is essential. Opportunities for advancement to Master Tech exist upon gaining advanced registry and equipment proficiency.

Required Experience and Certifications

• 1 year related experience
• Kentucky State Radiation Operators License
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT RT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Work Schedule

Days/evenings shifts with on-call responsibilities including evenings, nights, and weekends, based on departmental needs.

Qualifications for Advancement

Applicants with an Associate’s degree, 3 years related experience, and ARRT certification may be eligible for a higher grade position with increased pay ($30.00/hour – $53.67/hour).
