Job summary

Atrium Health's Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a Full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join the Interventional and Structural Heart Program in a hybrid inpatient/outpatient cardiology setting. The role focuses on inpatient rounds, clinic management, and peri-procedural care under a supervising physician within a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold NP or PA licensure in NC with ACNP/AGACNP or NCCPA certification, relevant cardiac experience, and strong communication

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program.
Current license to practice as a NP or PA in North Carolina.
Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
Nurse practitioners with ACNP/AGACNP certification based on population served.
Physician Assistants with NCCPA certification required.

Responsibilities

Inpatient rounds, consultations, admissions and discharges.
Clinic visits in the outpatient setting.
Manage patients pre and post-procedurally in a cardiology setting.
Perform admissions, rounding, consult and discharge notes for inpatient/ED and same-day procedures.
Work in a hybrid inpatient/outpatient setting as part of a multidisciplinary team.
