Job summary

The Mason City Clinic in Mason City, Iowa has an excellent opportunity for a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join the Cardiology department. The clinic supports inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services with a growing structural heart center including TAVR and LAAO/Watchman programs.

Join a busy practice and participate in a 1:3 call rotation with potential for excess call and per diem compensation.

Qualifications

• BC/BE; board certified within 3 years of eligibility.
• H1B & J1 candidates encouraged to apply.
• All offers contingent upon references, background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Graduate of medical/osteopathic medical school is required.
• Demonstrated competency by completion of an appropriate residency program.
• Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges.
• Above-average communication skills.
• Ability to work with a team.
• Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services are provided.
• Join a busy practice with call rotation; opportunity for excess call with per diem.
• Part of a growing structural heart center with TAVR, LAAO/Watchman, and heart-team infrastructure.
• Work with cardiac surgeons and vascular surgery services.
