Job summary

The Mason City Clinic (MCC) in Mason City, Iowa invites a BC/BE non-invasive/general Cardiologist to join its Cardiology department. The practice includes inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services with a full spectrum of cardiology care, including TEEs and cardioversions.

Join a busy group of physicians, fellows, and NPs with opportunities for cardiology fellowship training and outreach across multiple hospitals in a 14-county network.

Qualifications

• BC/BE- must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible.
• Graduate of medical/osteopathic medical school is required.
• Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
• H1B & J1 candidates encouraged to apply; offers contingent on references, background check, and pre-employment processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic cardiology services.
• Offer non-invasive, invasive, interventional cardiology and EP procedures in collaboration with cardiac surgery and vascular teams.
• Perform TEEs and cardioversions as required.
• Join a busy practice with a large team including fellows and NPs; participate in outreach and teaching activities.
