Job summary

The Mason City Clinic (MCC) in Mason City, Iowa is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join our Cardiology department. The practice includes inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services with a full spectrum of cardiology care and a growing structural heart program.

Call is 1:3 with excess call and per diem opportunities. MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center serves as the regional hub with a 342-bed facility, Level II trauma center, and 24/7 cath labs.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in interventional cardiology (BC/BE) within 3 years of eligibility.
• Demonstrated competency as a physician through residency training.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic cardiology services.
• Participate in a growing structural heart program and heart team initiatives.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgery and vascular surgery services and participate in TEE and cardioversion procedures.
