Job summary

Springfield Clinic in Illinois seeks an experienced Interventional Spine/Pain Management Nurse to assess patients, assist physicians with injections, nerve blocks, and implant placements, and provide perioperative care.

You will administer IV and oral medications, monitor sedation, ensure sterile technique, educate patients, document thoroughly, and coordinate with the care team from pre-procedure to recovery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• 3–5 years of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with changing into appropriate attire.
• Administer preprocedural orders including medications and IV therapy.
• Provide preoperative education to patients and their families or support persons.
• Collaborate with members of the healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.
• Accompany patients to the procedure room and perform intraoperative nursing duties.
• Complete all applicable recovery documentation and records.
