The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at thePerelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seekscandidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenureacademic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specificarea of general musculoskeletal skills. Applicants must have anM.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must have demonstratedexcellent qualifications in clinical care. Applicants must have BoardCertified or Board Eligible by the American Board of PhysicalMedicine and Rehabilitation. Candidates should bring to thisposition expertise through special experiences or additionalfellowship training in Interventional Spine, Pain Management orMusculoskeletal Medicine.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching and mentoring ofPenn medical students and residents as well as alliedprofessionals.

Clinical responsibilities may include working closely with othersurgical and non-surgical teams to provide coordinatedinterdisciplinary care for patients as part of our SpineCenter.

Selected candidates must have excellent, well refined interpersonalskills and leadership abilities to effectively lead ourinterdisciplinary rehabilitation teams.
