Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Special Procedures Technologist/IR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Margate, FL. The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopic equipment and support physicians in image-guided procedures, while ensuring patient safety and accurate records.

Must have 1 year of acute care experience, ARRT (R), BLS, ACLS, and relevant licensing. A vascular interventional certificate is preferred. Travel role with 40 hours/week, 8-hour days.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Must have ARRT (R) certification, BLS, and ACLS; state licensing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians in interventional procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients during procedures and monitor for abnormalities.
• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests; explain procedures to patients.
• Assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient during procedures and maintain safety standards.
