Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopic equipment, assist physicians in image-guided procedures, and manage patient prep and observation.

Requirements include 1 year of acute care experience, ARRT (R), BLS, ACLS, and preferably a Vascular Interventional certificate. Travel role includes 40-hour weeks and 10-hour shifts. Local travel stipend details are posted by TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Must have ARRT (R) certification, BLS and ACLS.
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures and report abnormal activity.
• Confirm patient identification and explain procedures to patients.
• Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient during all procedures and maintain records.
• Understand and use PACS systems.
